Innovative Percussion TS-IJ Ike Jackson Tenor Sticks w/ Nylon Tip
Designed by Ike Jackson, percussion director for Ayala High School and program coordinator/percussion consultant for the Sacramento Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps, the TS-IJ at a full 17” in length is longer than most other tenor sticks. This added length, along with the unique mushroom-shaped tip, produces a much bolder and more articulate sound. Although the stick is larger, this implement is ideal in helping intermediate level students create a quality of sound that is similar to advanced level players.
